Competitive, Minimalist Mage UI

A minimal UI based on default frames that's optimized for competitive play.

Setup:

• Import this WeakAura
• Lower texture opacity in blizzard settings to 0%
  • Options -> Game -> Gameplay -> Combat -> Spell Alert Opacity -> Set to 0%
• Download and install OmniCC if you don't already have it (needed for timers on icons). Then, copy my settings.

General:

• Optimized for both high-end PvE and PvP
• All spells loaded into groups dynamically, play with any talent setup
• Groups for CDs: defensives, low-prio utility, offensives & utility, pots + timewarp, and trinkets + racials
• Groups for Buffs: texture, nameplate, minor, and major
• Custom Conditions for every WA to glow when coming off CD, and desaturate when on CD
• Custom Conditions for every WA to show their associated active buff timer when activated, if relevant
• A large amount of custom code

Competitive Specific:

• Defensives are located near health to reduce distance you need to look, since both are frequently checked at the same time
• Spells separated into similar groups to speed up checking CDs, based on frequency of looking and my intuition playing mage for 10+ years
• CDs are separated into dynamic sub-groups, in top-down order from most important to least, so that the most important information is always closer to your eyes than less important information
• Procs reduced to a single side to free up space and maximize good information, as well as visibility
• Custom cast bar (slightly modified dorovon's cast bar) to show thick red tick lines so that you can see important information in your peripheral vision
• Buff tracker is close to your eyes so that you can make quick adjustments and deviate from the APL when common sense dictates (for example, not starting a new Frostbolt cast when Sophic Devotion/trinket is about to fall off and you have a proc... or casting another arcane missiles when blast wont land before a buff expires)

Custom General:

• Custom incoming spell alerts that highlight UnitFrame (PvE and PvP important spells)
• Mirror Images show time + charges left
• Alter Time comes with a health lost tracker as well as an alert (visual + audio) for being dispelled so you can proactively cancel it before purged
• Greater Invis tracker for all 3 phases (active, inactive, damage reduction active)
• Custom healing pot tracker that only loads in PvE
• Custom Time Warp / Temporal Warp tracker for all versions of Heroism
• Custom Decurse tracker that highlights the party frame of the affected players, as well as highlights your own unit frame when you are personally affected
• Various PvP alerts for Grounding Totem, Psyfiend, etc
• Custom tracker for incoming spells in PvE content (makes it easier to pre-defensive with alter or whatever during hectic pulls)
• Custom Dwarf racial tracker that shows an alert on UnitFrame when it can be used in PvE

Custom Fire:

• Color-coded Ignite Tracker, useful for knowing which add to swap to when one dies to maximize spread damage (nameplate AND icon)
  • colors match information on the icon, extremely intuitive
    • in my opinion this is a useful and fun aura to have
• Custom Pheonix Reborn Tracker that combines PF CD tracker with Phoenix Reborn, all in one icon (glows blue when you have extra charges - dark blue for 2, light blue for 1; glows red when the charges are about to expire OR when you are about to renew two more charges, as an alert to use them - dark red for 2 remaining, orange for 1 remaining; glows black when you have extra charges but PF is on cooldown)
• Custom Blaster Master tracker that will show a red timer when Fire Blast CD is too long to refresh the buff
• Custom Sun King's (SKB) tracker that:
  • Informs you if your Sun King's Pyroblast will land before it expires, with included common sense considerations for Kindling and GCD
  • Informs you if it's dps optimal to wait for combustion
• Reminders for using trinkets/pot if it comes off CD while Combustion is activated and it's better not to wait another cycle
• Custom Checks for when you have too much haste to use Scorch, and when you have too much haste + are standing too far away to do normal sequence
• Meteor delay tracker (dorovon's)
• Smart Spellfire Sphere's tracker for Sunfury Fire
• Firefall tracker, Lit Fuse tracker, Sparking Cinders tracker, etc
• A bunch more standard stuff

Custom Arcane:

• Custom Check for when you have too much haste to cast Arcane Blast + Barrage on the 4th stack of Radiant Spark
• Reminders for using trinkets/pot if they come off CD during burst
• Reminders to use Touch of the Magi if you somehow forget, or if you mess up rotation
• Tracker for Splinters, Aether Attunement, Spellfire Spheres for Sunfury, etc
• A bunch more trackers for standard stuff

Custom Frost:

• Custom Targets and Freezable Targets tracker which makes it possible to create some really smart aoe auras for frost that are simply not possible in other UIs
• Custom Coldest Snap tracker which tells you when to hold for upcoming CDs, what spells to press before, and if there are enough targets
• Custom Glacial Spike tracker which tells you when to cast blizzard as prio instead of glacial spike, depending on target count, and also displays which spell to use for shatter based on what's available, target count, AND if the targets are freezable
• Alert for standing too close for Glacial Spike + Flurry
• Alert for bad target for Glacial Spike if other freezable targets are in combat
• Alert for flurry to warn when a charge is coming from Water Jet
• Reminders for using trinkets/pot if they come off CD during burst
• Smart Winter's Chill tracker that shows the buff for Splinterstorm
• Tracker for Splinters and Frostfire buffs
• A bunch more standard stuff
